Do you know all seven native Ohio woodpecker species? Can you spot the difference between a Hairy Woodpecker and a Downy Woodpecker? Join us on a hike as we find habitats and learn more about each of these native birds. Each family will receive their own woodpecker flip guide.

This is a Tools to Trek program.

FIRST-TIME REGISTRANTS: If you are a Centerville/Washington Township resident, please enter Dayton as your city when creating an account. The system WILL NOT recognize you as a resident if you enter Centerville or Washington Township as your city.

All family members must be registered to attend this program.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

If you realize you are unable to attend ahead of time, please contact the Park District. Having accurate registration allows us to properly utilize our staff and volunteers as well as offer spots to those on the waiting list.

Program and camp cancellations made seven days prior to the start date will receive a full refund in the form of household credit or refund to the original payment method. Those cancellations made less than seven days prior to the program date will be offered a 50% refund in the form of a household credit. Cancellations made during or after the program are not eligible for a refund. Exceptions to this policy can be made at the discretion of the Program Manager.
