27WIN - Preschool Nature Series: Pinecone Investigation

We will explore evergreen trees and adaptations that allow them to survive harsh winter temperatures without going dormant all season. We will also learn how they produce seeds and will make pinecone art. This is a Tools to Trek program.

FIRST-TIME REGISTRANTS: If you are a Centerville/Washington Township resident, please enter Dayton as your city when creating an account. The system WILL NOT recognize you as a resident if you enter Centerville or Washington Township as your city.

Note:

Location: Bill Yeck Park, Smith House Entrance, 2230 E. Centerville Station Rd.

We will be using the Smith House during the program. Please plan for time indoors and outdoors!

Siblings are always welcome to accompany the family, but the participants must be ages 3-5.

If the weather is not ideal, we will spend most of our time indoors.

If you realize you are unable to attend, please notify us. Having accurate participant numbers allows us to properly utilize staff/volunteers and give those on the waiting list an opportunity to attend.

Program and camp cancellations made seven days prior to the start date will receive a full refund in the form of household credit or refund to the original payment method. Those cancellations made less than seven days prior to the program date will be offered a 50% refund in the form of a household credit. Cancellations made during or after the program are not eligible for a refund. Exceptions to this policy can be made at the discretion of the Program Manager.
