Learn to make soap through cold processing from Beth Bridgeman, a full-time maker and weaver from Yellow Springs, Ohio. We will be using lye and fat to build our bars as well as essential oils and natural colorants. Participants will walk away with 8 – 10 bars of gentle, natural and handmade soap along with information, history and the confidence to make your own soap at home. All materials are included. Light refreshments will be provided.
FIRST-TIME REGISTRANTS: If you are a Centerville/Washington Township resident, please enter Dayton as your city when creating an account. The system WILL NOT recognize you as a resident if you enter Centerville or Washington Township as your city.

Join Beth Bridgeman, a full-time maker and weaver from Yellow Springs, Ohio in two unique workshop offerings this spring!. Her expansive knowledge of land-based (nature-centered) making, crafting and life skills will guide participants and challenge them as they learn new skills and craft beautiful creations by hand. Sign up for one or both of these programs!
Program cancellations made seven days prior to the start date will receive a full refund in the form of household credit or refund to the original payment method. Those cancellations made less than seven days prior to the program date will be offered a 50% refund in the form of a household credit. Cancellations made during or after the program are not eligible for a refund. Exceptions to this policy can be made at the discretion of the Program Manager.
