Let's enjoy spooky season in the parks! We will kick off the night with local legends of things that go bump in the night and a tour of our historic Smith House (which may just be a little bit haunted). Then, as the sun sets we will hit the trails to see some iconic, spooky sites at this park. Those goosebumps are just from the wind, right?
During your hike, you will learn about some of the history of the property, as well as the nocturnal wildlife that call this park home.
Please register each participate planning to attend separately. This program will involve a night hike portion across uneven terrain. Expect to hike for approximately 1–1.5 miles.
FIRST-TIME REGISTRANTS: If you are a Centerville/Washington Township resident, please enter Dayton as your city when creating an account. The system WILL NOT recognize you as a resident if you enter Centerville or Washington Township as your city.

Meet up at the shelter located near the Smith House. Flashlights will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. Dress for the weather, and be sure to wear close-toed shoes.
This program is weather dependent. Cancellations due to weather will be made up to 2 hours in advance of the program. Participants will be notified of a weather cancellation by email, and notice will be posted on our website.
