There are few people more special in our lives than a grandparent. This Grandparents Day, we invite you to celebrate yours with us! Grandchildren and their grandparent(s) will gather at the Kennard Nature Nook for an afternoon of nature crafts, stories in the shade, an indoor tea party and nature play!

One registration per family (5 maximum per family). This program is geared towards grandparents and their grandchildren.

FIRST-TIME REGISTRANTS: If you are a Centerville/Washington Township resident, please enter Dayton as your city when creating an account. The system WILL NOT recognize you as a resident if you enter Centerville or Washington Township as your city.

Location: Grant Park, Kennard Nature Nook, 6588 McEwen Rd.

This is not a drop off program. Adults will take part in this program with kids! This program will have both outdoor and indoor activities.

This event is weather-dependent. Weather-related cancellations will be sent to all participants by email or text if registered for text notifications.

Program cancellations made seven days prior to the start date will receive a full refund in the form of household credit or refund to the original payment method. Those cancellations made less than seven days prior to the program date will be offered a 50% refund in the form of a household credit. Cancellations made during or after the program are not eligible for a refund. Exceptions to this policy can be made at the discretion of the Program Manager.
