The Earth is constantly changing! One drop of water can carve entire valleys. Weathering, one of the processes responsible for this change, is visible even in some of our parks! Come with us on a hike and a splash in the creek as we see how weathering can cause a mountain of change in our environment. Closed-toe shoes are required.
This is a Tools to Trek program.
FIRST-TIME REGISTRANTS: If you are a Centerville/Washington Township resident, please enter Dayton as your city when creating an account. The system WILL NOT recognize you as a resident if you enter Centerville or Washington Township as your city.

If you realize you are unable to attend ahead of time, please contact the Park District. Having accurate registration allows us to properly utilize our staff and volunteers as well as offer spots to those on the waiting list.
Program and camp cancellations made seven days prior to the start date will receive a full refund in the form of household credit or refund tothe original payment method. Those cancellations made less than seven days prior to the program date will be offered a 50% refund in the form of a household credit. Cancellations made during or after the program are not eligible for a refund. Exceptions to this policy can be made at the discretion of the Program Manager.
