Join Kristin of Purple Paintbrush for a relaxed, skill-building drawing workshop designed for young teens. Participants will explore drawing from life using a beachy, summer-inspired still life. The session begins with short warm-up sketches and an introduction to why drawings can look “flat,” along with simple techniques to add depth, dimension and stronger composition.
In the second half, the workshop shifts to playful figure and cosplay-inspired drawing. Students will move around, observe one another and draw expressive poses in a fun, low-pressure environment. This workshop encourages experimentation, confidence and creativity for all drawing skill levels.
FIRST-TIME REGISTRANTS: If you are a Centerville/Washington Township resident, please enter Dayton as your city when creating an account. The system WILL NOT recognize you as a resident if you enter Centerville or Washington Township as your city.

All materials are provided, but students are welcome to bring their favorite drawing supplies and dress up, if they wish.
Program cancellations made seven days prior to the start date will receive a full refund in the form of household credit or refund to the original payment method. Those cancellations made less than seven days prior to the program date will be offered a 50% refund in the form of a household credit. Cancellations made during or after the program are not eligible for a refund. Exceptions to this policy can be made at the discretion of the Program Manager.
