Hit the trail with us! These exploratory hikes foster curiosity and confidence in young children. Your leader will point out seasonal changes and other natural points of interest in the parks. Hikes can be on a natural or paved path, depending on the location. This is a Tools to Trek program.
Backpacks and front carriers are appropriate if your child is not walking.
FIRST-TIME REGISTRANTS: If you are a Centerville/Washington Township resident, please enter Dayton as your city when creating an account. The system WILL NOT recognize you as a resident if you enter Centerville or Washington Township as your city.

This hike takes place on a natural path.
If the program occurs after sunset, lanterns will be provided.

If you realize you are unable to attend, please notify us. Having accurate participant numbers allows us to properly utilize staff/volunteers and give those on the waiting list an opportunity to attend.
Program and camp cancellations made seven days prior to the start date will receive a full refund in the form of household credit or refund to original payment method. Those cancellations made less than seven days prior to the program date will be offered a 50% refund in the form of a household credit. Cancellations made during or after the program are not eligible for a refund. Exceptions to this policy can be made at the discretion of the Program Manager.
