26SPR - Nature Journaling through Watercolor: Trout Lily

Materials to bring: travel watercolor paint set, aqua paint brush, waterproof fine tip pen, pencil with eraser, bull clip, drawing board, and a sketchbook or journal (or any other materials you'd like to use instead).

These free nature journaling workshops are open to adults of all skill levels! Led by visual artist and designer Renee Hopson, this bring-your-own-material, loose workshop is meant to connect you and your craft to nature. Each workshop will have a different natural 'muse' to capture through watercolor designs.

For April's session, take a walk in the woods and capture the beauty of the amazing blooming trout lily! We will meet outside the Smith House and hike together to a trout lily patch to start painting.

FIRST-TIME REGISTRANTS: If you are a Centerville/Washington Township resident, please enter Dayton as your city when creating an account. The system WILL NOT recognize you as a resident if you enter Centerville or Washington Township as your city.

Additional Materials Suggested: travel stool or picnic blanket/towel, binoculars, tripod easel, water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses. Dress for the weather!

This program is weather-dependent. Weather-based cancellations will be posted online, and registered participants will be notified by email or text (if opted-in).

Program and camp cancelations made seven days prior to the start date will receive a full refund in the form of household credit or refund to original payment method. Those cancelations made less than seven days prior to the program date will be offered a 50% refund in the form of a household credit. Cancelations made during or after the program are not eligible for a refund.  Exceptions to this policy can be made at the discretion of the Program Manager.
