Join Turtle Up: Conservation, Education, and Action (TUCEA) for an engaging seminar on sea turtle conservation and sustainability. During the session, presented by a TurtleUp volunteer, learn about the organization, explore the challenges of plastic pollution, and learn practical ways to take action. Activities include trivia, a plastic waste reduction challenge, and discussions on eco-tourism and volunteering, all designed to inspire change. Whether you're passionate about marine life or seeking ways to live more sustainably, this seminar offers valuable insights and opportunities to get involved in meaningful conservation efforts.

Brief background:
Corinne Brion, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the University of Dayton and founder of Turtle Up, a non-profit dedicated to sea turtle conservation and sustainable community development in Ghana. With expertise in leadership, social entrepreneurship, and sustainable tourism, she has worked on professional development initiatives across Africa. She holds a PhD in Leadership Studies from the University of San Diego and certifications in Sustainable Tourism Destination Management and Social Entrepreneurship. Dr. Brion’s work bridges education, conservation, and community empowerment to drive meaningful change.
