Turn old into bold! Breathe new life into your favorite shirt in this creative and fun hands-on workshop. Bring a cotton or broadcloth garment with a small hole, stain or outdated design. Transform it into a one-of-a-kind piece using the timeless art of hand-sewn appliqué.
Learn to select fabrics, design your appliqué and master the border stitch to attach your custom creation. Want to start small? Use cotton fabric and an embroidery hoop to create appliqué décor to display.

What to Bring:
A cotton or broadcloth shirt or sweatshirt (with a hole, stain, or outdated design)
Optional: Fabric scraps (we’ll have plenty available too!)
All other materials will be provided.
Participants will choose colors that they like, and what kind of simple shapes or other things they would like to sew on their project.
