Join the Centerville-Washington Park District and the local non-profit Hope Wanders to enjoy coffee and conversation with guest speakers and/or an educational experience followed by a walk or hike.

Join us for 2 mile loop hike around the park during the evening hours then learn skills to build a fire and relax around the fire with refreshments.
Participants should wear close toed shoes.

All women are welcome to attend these donation-based events. Donations of gently used camping gear are greatly appreciated to connect women from difficult life situations with the joys of outdoor recreation and the supportive community that comes with it.

Hope Wanders was born out of a deep commitment to helping survivors of abuse reclaim their lives and discover the strength within themselves. Jessica Urton, the founder, envisioned a sanctuary where women could find solace, courage, and community in the great outdoors.
