Harvard School of Integrative Medicine tells us the slow meditative movements, deep breathing and relaxation characteristic of Tai Chi practice creates a special biological state that activates our capacity for body/mind wellness and healing. Great for stress relief, post-illness or managing a chronic health condition. Improves coordination, balance and attention. Facilitates cardiac rehab, lowers blood pressure and helps maintain strong bones.

An introduction to Tai Chi and Qigong (pronounced Chi Kung) principles and form through Tai Chi Easy — a form created by Roger Jahnke, O.M.D. — to make Tai Chi accessible and fun for everyone. Taught by Judy Wilson, Certified Integral Qigong and Tai Chi Instructor.

This class will take place outdoors with the option to move indoors for inclement weather.
